Subject: Slide-out top cleaning

I throw a step-ladder into the truck when loading.
Before breaking camp and retracting I always:
1. Dry towel or sweep all big debris off top of slide.
2. Moisten the towel and clean top of slide.
Step 2 may be overkill - I don't want to pull in dirt/dust into interior.
But Step 1 is vital. Does not really matter how you do it, but be sure you do.
If retract with gum-ball, pine-cone, branch, etc. on top the rubber seal could get badly damaged/destroyed.
Plus while cleaning it all can be inspected again.
Or do like others and install a slide-topper,
