I have a 2015 179 with risers. I installed the Enduro trailer mover a couple of months ago. I did not have to modify anything to install it...... just used the parts that came with the mover.

Now instead of having to get in & out of my TV several times to get hitched up, I just use the mover to bring my pod up to the hitch. The mover also makes it very easy to locate my Pod exactly where I want it on a campsite.

At home I have to keep my Pod parked around back & within inches along side of a retaining wall in order to keep my Pod out of view so the HOA Nazis don't get their panties in a bunch. The trailer mover makes getting up alongside the wall so easy.

I dealt with Paul Liner at PurpleLine & found him to be very helpful & patient.

Be prepared for a lot of questions when other campers see your Pod moving itself into position.

Also, you can use the mover to rotate your Pod 180 degrees so the tongue is pointed away from the road. This makes it nearly impossible for someone to steal your Pod!!

The 2017.5 180 water pump is under the bed in the back corner.  There are two boards (front and back).  First I had to completely remove the mattress.  Then I had to unscrew the front board and slide it over the back board to get the water heater bypass.  Then slide the front board back into place, place, the back board and slide it on top of the front board to access the water pump syphon hose.  After all that I then winterized with pink stuff.  In spring I'll have to only remove the front board to un-bypass the water heater.  After all that I decided to purchase an air compressor so next year I will just go with the "plow-out" technique which should be adequate for north Alabama.

I do not understand why the water pump must be accessed to winterize. Can someone please explain this to me ?

Because on the water pump line is a valve, and that valve is hooked to a hose, and that hose can be placed in a gallon jug of anti-freeze, the valve turned to draw from there instead of the holding tank, and the anti-freeze pumped through the system from there. With the WH bypassed, it takes 1 gallon to winterize, including some to dump in the P traps. This also makes sure anti-freeze gets into the pump and it's pre-filter. Also, come spring time, WAY less anti-freeze to flush from the system. Some people are sensitive to the "flavor".

Has anyone thought of or has anyone put an extension on the hose (to make it longer/easier) to suck up the anti freeze from the bottles? When winterizing I find the original hose a little to short and not flexible enough.

I think a 90 degree elbow and a rigid tube (length to fit the bottle) added on to the end of the flexible tube would work better than just lengthening the tube.

Paul & Funky,
Looking forward to seeing your mod with the drawers! I'll add a few pictures of how i supported the opening under the drawers with angle iron behind the lower face frame when I get a picture this weekend,  If you have any questions when you do the mod, just ask!

Here's a video I took but it wouldn't download correctly the first time.

I feel like I'm just fixing design flaws with the mods I've done. Having a ball playing with it!

Good luck!!
Rgds John

JandL,
Followed your lead on the tarp awing, Used sail slugs for the channel and just tie wrapped them to the tarp. I use a bungee cord at each end just pull it back or forward  to get shade or rain protection.

Craig wood & WJR3,
Sail slugs go on the leading edge of a sail boat sail and feed into the mast when you raise the sail. Here's some pictures of the awning and slugs. The shackles are just a carabiner  type also used in sailing, with a small end and a large end that opens.

Sail slugs, .56 cents each.  I used the 3/8 slugs (cut them off an old sail)
I use a bungge cord at each end to keep it tight and also adjust the overhang to be forward or aft.
I bought 7' adjustable tent poles at my local camp store. I use the pole to push the sliders down the track, 8' pole  or 9' pole would be better because you could adjust them for grade changes , they sell them at Cabellas on line $14.99

There is a small gap at the trailer rail, I rained 2" the next day (Eureka CA) and it wasn't a problem.

Interesting, I've never seen this gadget before. At first I thought you were talking about the type that hooks into the hitch socket.

Can't be cheap though. Link?
